My reflection to this course

I think this course is very difficult and then it was that after I learned. Teacher taught many content to me, but I can't understand all. It may be my potency that not good enough. The contents that I can understand very well are Fact&Opinion and Strategies of finding main idea. This course made me to be punctual because everyday it will start to learn at 8.30 am. I like teacher's method of teaching because she will give freedom to answer of students. If it is incorrect, she will not blame her students, but she will put them right. Sharing idea with friends is good thing for me because it made me know that friends's work and my work are different or the same. It is thinking each other for finding the best answer. Finally, this course made me use English more than especially writing skills. If it is possible, I want to learn with Aj. Usa again on next term, I wish.

Today this last class for Critical reading. Teacher told about all homework who one don't submit to her. Someone can submit again. She was very kind. I have submit already. She told about scores for all  test in the pass. I was happy because I feel pleasure for my scores.^^ Then we  continue to Facebook .We answer the questions. Before we finished class; teacher teach for  good teacher such as we should attention ,punctual like her. She was punctual. I love her.She to us that have good luck for final test.

Today, I studied about Reading Editorials. She taught us about what does the editorial means. We read the example editorial about the light rail cars collided with a stopped one-car train in San Francisco 44 people hurt. She told us how to find what was that editorial about. There are facts-number, dates, names,places and exact quotations from the report.After that we studied Reading News Articles about "Facebook to share your info for money" Aj.Usa asked us to share the words that associate with Facbook. We could share so much ideas about the words on Facebook because we always use it everyday. We know it very well. I think it was so interesting lesson. I could learn many thing from this lesson.I think I can apply it with other subjects.

Today I learned about Reading Advertisement. The general advertisement included type of product, brand name, word&phrases with positive connotation, important product features, target audience, and theme line. I think it is important for the audience. It was quite easy  for me. After I learned, I have more understand about this. Finally, teacher asked me to find advertisement and answer that follow in sheet.

Today, I learned about reading movie review and readied advertisement. First, Aj.Usa gave movie review of The First Grader and she ordered to find the information in this movie such as name of review, positive words, negative words, etc. These are two review that one is positive review and another one is negative review. After that, I learned with reading advertisements, I think the ad is interesting so I attended to learned and I can understand this lesson.

Today I studied about reading book reviews with Aj.Usa . 
She gave us a worksheet about the Teaching Reading Skills in a Foreign Language book review. We read them and found the author's opinions, both positive and negative comments on the book. Then, we shared the ideas in the class. After that, Aj.Usa gave us worksheet about the meaning of the fiction and non-fiction and how to read the book review so that we can find the comment of the writer. We did the exercise together and found which statements are negative and which statements are positive. 
I really liked the lesson because it helped me learn more about how to read book reviews.

Today I had the test about facts and opinions. After I finished the test, I feel good because It was quite easy for me. Then I learned about Author's purpose, Author's tone, Author's point of view,and Author's intended audience. I think It was quite easy. If you attend like me, it will be easy. Finally, teacher asked me to exercise, 10 questions. I think it was the challenge for me.

Today I learned about The Age of Immigration. This lesson teach about getting into the topic. At first, you should read the first sentence and think of a question that you expect this paragraph to answer. Second, you read the article, stop at the end of each sentence that contains bold face text and follow the instructions in the box in the margin. Third, you check the main ideas of each paragraph. Finally, you should look back at the article to answer the following questions. I think it was very difficult for me that in the same last week, but after I followed step by step, it made me understand more than ever. I will more try and more practice next time.It's really challenge for me

Today, I learnt about identifying the main idea. Aj. Usa asked us to explain the meaning of the main idea. Next time, Aj. Usa taught us when you would like to know the main idea you should have the early hypothesis formation and readind the next sentense and ask myself, "What idea do these sentense support?".When the next sentense supports original hypothesis, you doesn't change the topic or the focus but when the next sentense doesn't support original hypothesis you should change the subject or the focus and revise hypothesis to fit the sentense.Next, we read and practice to find the main idea and I think it was difficult because it has long passages and difficult to find the main idea. Anyway, I can understand how to find the main idea but sometinme I can't find the main idea because some sentense have a lot of vocabulary and I don't know the meaning,so I can't translate some sentense.

Today, Dr. Usa opened the picture of Mona Lisa and her want to know about when we look at this picture, what do you think? When we finished to explain about Mona Lisa picture I leant to what is the critical reading? Before finished class Dr. Usa gave a quiz. It not difficult to understand but it difficult to write the answer. The problem in this day is many word that I don't know in the meaning.

Today is the first class for the new term to learn with Dr.Usa. I feel excite to find her again.I ever learn with her 2 years ago. This term she teach me in critical reading subject. I think it hard for me, but I will try  to do it  completely. I think it can help me read a long or hard story easily, because I know about technique reading. I don't have any problem in this class.
